Call for Bradley Grant Applications
The 2022-23 Bradley Grant process has begun. The annual Robert B. Bradley Library Research Grants support the research and creative endeavors of our faculty while developing our library's world-class collections. Deadline: October 10, 2022.
New Faculty Grants Deadline
The University Libraries offer New Faculty Collection Development Grants to newly hired full-time tenure track faculty. These grants provide eligible faculty members with up to $1,000 to order books and media materials for our permanent collection. Requests can be submitted via the Faculty Development Grant form. Please include your name in the request, select your department, and in the notes field add a note “New Faculty Grant.” These funds cannot be used for subscriptions or other resources that incur an annual continuing cost. The following deadlines are currently in effect:
- Faculty hired during the 2021-2022 Academic Year: January 31, 2023
- Faculty hired during the 2022-2023 Academic Year: January 31, 2024

New Diversity & Inclusion Materials, 2020-2021
Through fundraising efforts such as the Noles Read Day and Great Give programs, plus some cost savings, the FSU Libraries were able to purchase a variety of Diversity and Inclusion archival electronic collections in 2020-2021:
- Historical Black Newspapers: Atlanta Daily World, Los Angeles Sentinel, Norfolk Journal and Guide, New York Amsterdam News, Philadephia Tribune

- Black Abolitionist Papers
- Black Thought & Culture
- LGBT Thought & Culture

- Vogue Archive
